ABOUT

Hello, I’m Michael.

I’m a husband, father, and grandfather, living in Oklahoma.

Recently, I retired after working for several decades with adults who had a wide spectrum of disabilities.

These included men and women with developmental disabilities, Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, physical and emotional challenges, as well as people who’d had strokes, brain tumors, and traumatic brain injuries.

On this blog, I write positively about individuals with a range of disabilities because no matter what the diagnosis, disorder, or disease happens to be, every life has meaning and every life matters.

Thank you for taking the time to read about people who deserve to be treated as equal members of society.
